Where it got hung up
I struggled to find the discipline, focus and organization within myself to move from what felt like a sporadic hobby to consistent and reliable delivery.
I got traction
What x When helped me assess parts of the project I had glossed over like defining what I wanted and creating a realistic breakdown of tasks. The ah ha for me was when we put everything into a timeline that included all my other commitments. I could see when I’d be able to work on tasks well in advance. Hanna helped transform my general ideas into something achievable--a firm reality. The careful planning of the project before it launched absolutely ensured its success.

If you're serious about your project but don't know exactly how to move it forward, this coaching is worth its weight in gold. Before What by When, my project barely existed. Now, after more than three years of consistent publishing, it has taken on a life of its own, and led me to opportunities I couldn't have imagined.

Where it got hung up
I’d never had time off for me, I could not fathom how to structure it. Would I run full force into a non-work project essentially working the whole time? Would I drastically change my diet to mark the time as set apart? Would I sit in my room all day because "what does one do during the week when they are not at work?"
I got traction
Hanna listened to my many ideas for the time and ultimately helped me see that I wanted to do too much. We clarified what was most important to me and made an actual plan. I could structure each day with clear ideas and recognize when I might too ambitious. Her humble and human approach nurtured my mind and heart.

Project coaching is for any area of life—big or small. Hanna is a whole-person type of consultant. There is no problem she cannot help you solve; just give her some graph paper and a mechanical pencil and watch the magic happen.

Where it got hung up
Juggling academics, work, and kids at home, I felt overwhelmed. I thought the challenges I faced were entirely unique; meaning no one would understand what I was grappling with. I knew I was spending too much time addressing the same tasks many times over, but I didn’t know how to set myself up for success. I assumed I had to sacrifice my personal time to get it all done. I felt stuck.
I got traction
I was pleasantly surprised to find that working with a project coach reduced my feelings of isolation. Together, we mapped out a plan to organize projects on a visual way. This helped me see where I was going. I was able to concentrate on the content of my work because I could fall back on the map for direction. I found the value goes beyond my original purpose by building scaffolding for other uses. I feel more confident taking on complex projects and capable managing the work.

I was unaware that project coaching was applicable to me. I assumed that consulting was limited to the business realm and maybe you do too. But I learned foundational building blocks that I’ve applied to myriad tasks and projects. This service helped me build practices that fit my life, discovering really practical tools to get my stuff done. Engaging What by When positively changed my quality of life by generating more time to relax.
